Most Finnish citizens probably didn’t want to join, every time we have actually been asked the huge majority has voted against it. But this time we weren’t asked. I presume our rulers – who, for starters, may have gotten some help getting into power – have been promised nice well paying jobs somewhere else, nice retirements after that, and definitely safe transfer out of the country if the brown stuff starts to fly. They are either stupid or don’t care about us, and presumably we have both kinds in power right now. Useful fools and self serving crooks.
